I don’t know what to say about the reception. It was a blur. And not that way…I don’t think I even had time to finish a drink! There was dinner and toasts and cake cutting and lots of dancing, but I really remember feeling so much love from everyone and for everyone.

We didn’t want our wedding to feel wedding-y. There was no big cheesy introduction (though I did miss my chance to walk down the stunning grand staircase in my dress!) and we didn’t do silly things like the bouquet toss. And absolutely no line dances. Ever. We wanted it to feel like a large dinner party, relaxed and elegant and easy.

But with a big cake.
